Many people consider the groove a combination of sound and rhythms in music, which creates a positive energy and make people move.

That´s where came the inspiration to this surfboard. A board that whose main characteristics are energy, speed, movement and ease of changing rhythms and directions in weak wave conditions.

The Groove model was developed to be the first choice in small and medium waves without much power. It´s the evolution of the "samba man" model, with some changes and adjustments made over the years.

The outline has a good area between the chest and in front of the fins to ensure good paddle and stability.

As this is a high performance model, speed is fundamental, being generated by a smooth curve at the water entry, combined with a continuous medium curve at the water exit. This combination allows good connections on mushy waves and a pretty radical attack on tight curves.

The bottom of the board has a single concave from the water entry, changing to a double concave in the fins, in order to generate a lot of projection with acceleration in rail changes.

To fit the groove model in your quiver, we advise you to reduce the size 1 to 2 inches from your regular surfboard. The idea is to try to give a gentle increase in the volume, without making the board heavy on your foot.

The most suitable tails are swallow, squash and round squash. It can be made in PU, EPS Flex and EPS with stringer. Regarding fins, we recommend it to be made as a thruster.
