Wetworks is the brazilian surfboard factory with the most market prestige. Quality, durability and performance are our main goal.

In 1993, Ricardo Martins, Joca Secco and Lula Menezes - three well-known surfers from the national surfing - came together to make high quality boards in design and precision. Ricardo and Joca have been working together since 1984 at Hidrojets, a very prestigious brand among surfers,at this stage was created a structure that centralized all production, which had been outsourced after the shape, following a very hard quality control which they would like to impose on the boards.
The aim was to create the conditions to produce each board, with the highest quality possible, from the block of polyurethane or styrofoam to the hands of the client, involving the whole production process and relationship, which is totally done today by WETWORK and always aiming at Total satisfaction of customers / surfers. Production served two forms of demand. On the one hand, the professional surfers who looked for the best surfboards, according to their style. On the other hand, the growth of the consumer public, which changed an old concept that who is starting to surf does not need a high technical level board.

 Later, a new shaper was formed and added to the group, Cláudio Hennek (Alemão), who was a surfer of Ricardo Martins' surfing team. Today, WETWORKS has three shapers who work together and exchange information, each with their own style, in a unique experience in the world. There are three competing brands within the same structure. Wetworks takes care of the management of every factory that accounts for approximately 15% of the national production of surfboards, for a total of 4,500 boards per year. Now Wetworks in yet another innovative move for a Brazilian brand is instead of exporting the ready board it is producing the boards of its shapers, RM / Secco / Hennek in California, Portugal and recently starting an operation in Australia with the intention of offering theirs boards in other parts of the world, surfer will be able to order his board and receive it at one of these places.
