Santa Força is the result of several years of partnership between shaper Ricardo Martins and professional surfer Raoni Monteiro during his long career on the World Tour and Qualifying Series.

Some changes and updates were made with Raoni's feedback during this journey. Over the years, the World Tour judging criteria have changed and this has affected the design of the boards. Power surfing was again more valued, the boards were gaining more volume and a small increase in rocker, mainly in the entry rocker. More volume needed to be added without affecting performance.

We increased fluctuation in the chest area to improve paddling and make the wave entry easier, which meant a substantial evolution in the model, but it was still necessary not to lose the original performance.

The solution was to make a balanced dome deck. The thickness close to the stringer would be maintained, falling smoothly to the rails, essential to provide more mobility and rail. This supposed loss on the deck makes the board have a thinner rail, easier to enter the water, even with more volume.

With such changes, it was necessary to adjust the initial rocker to the proposal of the board. We increased the entry rocker a little more and made a small adjustment to the exit.

The result of this partnership of so many years made santa froça evolve even more, resulting in a modern board.
